It’s been a big week for Savannah McCaskill as she and her team learned they will host their first NCAA tournament match at home.
Gamecock sophomore Savannah McCaskill and the USC Women’s Soccer Team will host UNC Wilmington tonight. Kickoff is set to start at 6PM at Stone Stadium.
This marks USC’s 8th trip to the NCAA Tournament in 9 years.
The Gamecocks are led by Savannah, who has 10 goals and 9 assists. The team has had a great season with a 12-4-3 overall record while UNC Wilmington comes in with 14-6-1.
We are excited for one of our own CrossFit members to have this opportunity. She recently earned first-team All-SEC honors and ranks among the top SEC players in several offensive categories. Savannah is an amazing athlete and it’s because of her dedication to her training and her passion for soccer that she is such an exceptional player.
