Kettlebell Training


Everyone put in hard work last week at CrossFit Athlete’s Arena with kettlebell training.

Kettlebell training is a high-intensity cardio workout that builds muscle, increases power, and helps you get lean. This article explains the history of kettlebells, as well as the sport of kettlebells.

Coach Shane taught a kettlebell class in the park at the Irmo Farmer’s Market last year and gave the class members a little history of kettlebells, including kettlebells being used as a weight for market products in Russia. How far the kettlebells have come as they are now a tool in the fitness industry and a sport of their own!
