A test of your strength and conditioning is the Power Clean. One of our CrossFit members, Amanda is demonstrating great technique in this video.
To perform a Power Clean you need to do the following in one continuous motion: (1) set up over the bar with feet shoulder width apart (2) begin pulling the bar up keeping it close to your body (3) pull the bar past your knees (4) explode at the hips (5) duck down into a squat as the bar lands on your shoulders (6) stand straight.
Focus on a quality movement pattern before loading weight and once you have a clean execution of this movement put the bar on the floor, step back, catch your breath and do it again!
